Byron Wine

Join the Byron Circa ‘64 Wine Club

The name refers to the year our estate Nielson Vineyard was planted. As the oldest commercial vineyard in Santa Barbara County, we felt it was appropriate to honor this historic event. As a member of the Circa ‘64 Club, you will receive four special shipments per year of our regional, site-specific and experimental bottlings. There are thousands of reasons to join Byron’s Circa ‘64 Wine Club. Here are the top five:

Thoughtfully chosen wine shipments 4 times a year

20% discount on all wine and merchandise at The Bench tasting room and online at byronwines.com

Members can choose between a Pinot Noir-only shipment or a mixed collection of wine

Invitations to “members only” special events

Access to wines not available anywhere else but the winery, which includes special offerings of rare or limited-production wines

In 1964, Uriel Nielson planted Santa Barbara’s first commercial vineyard along the windswept Santa Maria Bench. Four decades later, our remote maritime appellation has become one of California’s finest regions for cool-climate grapes. The Byron estate is located on the site of Mr. Nielson’s original vineyard. We make regional and site-specific Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from these historic vines, plus a handful of other top sites throughout the Santa Maria appellation.
